Why throw away your mom’s sweaty, old, ripped-up sock when you can make it into a sweater for a four inch hippo who likes to read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle?

‘Cause that just happens to everyone, right?
No seriously, i just took a sweaty old ripped-up sock and my mom made it into a knit turtleneck.

Sometimes, you just can’t resist.

(P.S: Remember to wash it so it’s not all sweaty.)

  1. I wanted to add: simplest project ever. It literally took only seconds. Have a small stuffed hippo, bear or other friend who could use a cozy sweater vest? Awesome. Grab an old sock (mine had holes in it), and cut off the cuff. Decide which end will be the “collar.” Mark and cut a small slit for each armhole. You may need to finish the cut edges (turn under and stitch in place) to prevent it from unraveling. Done. Your little buddy has a brand new sweater vest. 🙂
